Dr. Karaca

Dr. Didem Hazal Karaca is a GMC-registered medical doctor and hair restoration practitioner with a strong background in emergency medicine, aesthetic medicine, and dermatology-focused education. Since graduating from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2021, she has combined acute clinical experience with a dedicated focus on hair restoration, developing a patient-centred approach that prioritises safety, precision, and natural results.

During the early years of her medical career, Dr. Karaca worked in emergency medicine, where she gained extensive experience managing acute and complex medical conditions within busy hospital environments. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, she developed strong clinical judgement, leadership skills, and the ability to make accurate decisions under pressure while maintaining a calm and reassuring approach to patient care. This experience strengthened her commitment to patient safety, effective communication, and delivering high standards of care in every clinical setting.

Since relocating to the United Kingdom, Dr. Karaca has been actively involved in hair restoration and aesthetic medicine within a high-volume London hair transplant clinic. She has participated in every stage of the patient journey, from initial consultation and donor area assessment to surgical planning, FUE extraction, DHI implantation techniques, graft placement, and comprehensive post-operative care.

Alongside her practical experience, she has undertaken specialised hair transplant training and worked closely with experienced hair restoration surgeons, developing expertise in both FUE and DHI methodologies, hairline design, donor area management, graft handling, and long-term treatment planning. This experience has enabled her to adopt a personalised and evidence-based approach to hair restoration, tailored to each patient’s unique characteristics and goals.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Karaca is currently undertaking a Professional Diploma in Dermatology, further expanding her expertise in hair disorders, scalp health, skin conditions, and evidence-based aesthetic treatments.
